- Twist out and rinse the filter at the bottom of the tub.
- If a garbage disposal was just installed, make sure its drain knockout plug was removed.
- Check that the spray arms spin freely and their holes aren't blocked.
- Make sure the door latches firmly.

Why is there water in the bottom of my dishwasher?
Usually the filter, drain hose or drain pump. Clean the filter first. If water is still standing after a cycle, the drain system needs testing. Book a visit before it starts to smell or leak.
Is a leaking dishwasher urgent?
