Common washer problems we fix

What you can check before you call

  1. On a front-load washer, clean the drain pump filter behind the small panel at the bottom front.
  2. Redistribute the load and check that the washer is level on the floor.
  3. Make sure the door or lid closes fully.
  4. Leave the door open between washes so the drum dries out.

Still stuck with water in the drum? Don't force the door. Book a visit and we'll get it running again.

How a repair visit works

  1. You call or book online

Tell us what's going on. The technician calls before heading to you. Open daily, 8am to 8pm.

  2. We find the cause

The technician tests the washer, shows you what failed and gives you the price before any work.

  3. We fix it

No charge for the service call with a completed repair. Warranty coverage depends on the repair performed.

Washer repair questions

My washer stopped mid-cycle with water inside. What should I do?

Don't force the door open. The cause is usually the drain pump, a clog or the door lock. Book a visit and the technician will drain it safely and fix the cause.

Why does my washer shake so much?

Uneven loads cause some shaking, but heavy banging on every spin usually means worn shocks, springs or bearings. Left alone, it can damage the tub. Book a diagnosis.

Do you repair Miele and Speed Queen washers?

Yes. We service Miele, Speed Queen, Electrolux, LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, Maytag, GE, Bosch and other brands, front-load and top-load. Book a visit and mention the model.
