- On induction, test the pan with a magnet: if it doesn't stick, the pan won't work.
- Make sure the control lock isn't on and the touch panel is dry.
- Check the breaker for electric and induction cooktops.

Cooktop repair questions
Can a cracked glass cooktop be repaired?
In many cases the glass top can be replaced without replacing the whole cooktop. Stop using it, since a crack can spread, and book a visit for a quote.
My induction cooktop shows an error. What should I do?
Turn it off, check that the vents underneath aren't blocked and try a magnetic pan. If the error comes back, the electronics need testing. Book a visit.
