What Happens During a Mr Fix Indy Service Call
How a Mr Fix Indy appliance repair visit works: booking, arrival windows, the $115 service call, the repair quote, follow-up visits and payment.
Here is how a visit works, from the first call to the finished repair, so you know what to expect before the technician arrives.
1. Booking
Call (317) 526-5296 or book on our website. We are open daily from 8am to 8pm. Tell us the appliance, the brand and what it is doing. You will receive a text message confirming your appointment.
2. Arrival window
Visits are scheduled in arrival windows: 8am–12pm, 10am–2pm, 12pm–4pm, 2pm–6pm or 4pm–8pm. An adult 18 or older needs to be home during the visit. There is no fee for canceling or rescheduling before the technician arrives.
3. Diagnosis
The technician inspects and tests the appliance, finds the cause and explains what failed. The service call is $115 and covers the trip and the diagnosis.
4. The quote, before any work
You get the repair price before any work starts. Nothing is done without your approval. There is no charge for the service call with a completed repair. If you decline, the $115 is due at the end of the visit.
5. The repair
Many repairs are completed on the same visit. If a part needs to be ordered, we schedule a follow-up visit. There is still no charge for the service call when the repair is completed on that follow-up visit. For some orders a deposit may be requested. Built-in appliances can require additional labor, which is included in the repair price you approve.
6. Payment and warranty
We accept all types of payment, including credit and debit cards, cash, check, Zelle, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Venmo. Warranty coverage depends on the repair performed, and the technician will explain it with your quote.
